Aron Kato: Missing Presumed Murdered

Aron Kato, 28, was last seen on CCTV getting chased down in Ilford, East London. He has not been seen since and hasn’t made contact with his family.

The incident happened in Ley Street in Ilford on April 18, 2019, at 4:30 am. In the CCTV he can be seen being chased and pushed to the ground. Aron was then forced into a dark-coloured BMW hatchback with the number plate RF12 0ZA. Police have been unable to recover the car.

On the evening before his disappearance his partner Chanel Naidoo said that Aron had left home to go and meet friends. He called her around midnight to tell her he loved her and that he was coming home, but he never did. 

In July 2019, three months after his disappearance, Detective Chief Inspector Mick Norman said:

“I am deeply saddened that we have had to accept that this is now a murder investigation.”

Seven people between the ages of 25 to 39 have been arrested on suspicion of kidnap and bailed or released under investigation since Aron’s disappearance. 

Aron’s partner Chanel Naidoo said:

“Aron is the kindest and most caring person and he is the best partner, father, son, brother and uncle and we need him home back with us where he should be.”

At the time of his disappearance Aron had a son who was just three months old.

Crimestoppers have offered a £10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest anf conviction of the people responsible for the abduction and murder of Aron Kato.
